You will be joining a worldwide bank as a Unix / Linux Engineer with the opportunity to provide global technical leadership in the design, engineering and implementation of the Solaris 11 platform

Acting as the point of contact between the business and the technical teams, you will be a core contributor to the modernisation of the Unix and Linux plaforms, providing leadership to the teams and Solaris 11 expertiese.

As a result, you will have good knowledge and experience with Unix & Linux systems, up to and including providing Level 3 (L3) support.

This major stakeholder project within the bank is an urgent requirement; and the successful candidate will have the opportunity for several extensions should they require.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience with emerging technologies and work in a truly global team.
