My client is currently looking for a Lead Data Engineer to help further build a team of Data Engineers based here in Dublin City Centre. You will be responsible for yourself and your team member's deliverance and dealing with senior management. You will be using data to drive sound business decisions, and will be working in a matrix-type environment.

This an excellent opportunity for a Lead Data Scientist, or a Data Scientist looking to take that next step in their career into a lead position, whereby you will get to work alongside some of the best in the business. The Data Team is constantly evolving giving you the chance to work with some of the most cutting-edge and up to date tools and technologies.

Technologies/Skills you'll spend most of your time working with/using: Hadoop, Spark, Teradata, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Tableau, Qlikview, Forecasting, Cluster Analysis, Python, SAS, R, Matlab, OLAP modelling

Experience Required:

* 5+ years working with Data Warehouse / Big Data technologies

* Proven ability using Data Mining / Machine Learning techniques

* Experience with OLAP modelling

* Experience using Python or similar languages

* Previous use of visualisation tools such as Tableau / Qlikview

* Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem
