Network Engineer

Location: Oxford

Duration: 3 months initial

Day Rate: £400 - £490

Network Engineer - We are actively seeking a Network Engineer to join a multi-award-winning Global Scientific Publishing Company based in Oxford for an initial 3 months. As the Network Engineer you will be working on a Networking and EUC transformation programme.

The Network Engineer will work alongside a team of experienced engineers to complete a global strategy to deliver a dynamic workplace. The Network Engineer will need to provide expertise in architecture and to collaborate with external suppliers and vendors. The Network Engineer will also implement network and security services that support their cloud first strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for the Network Engineer to join a company where your voice matters.

Key Skills for the Network Engineer:

* Solid experience in Security Operations.

* Proven experience with enterprise level firewall vendors.

* Excellent understanding of security best practises and deep in-depth understanding of VPN and supporting technologies.

* Knowledge of AWS and Azure network security designs.

* Solid understanding of OSI models.

* Excellent communication skills.
