SAP Trainer (Managed Finance) to be based in Portsmouth on a 6 Month contract. Experienced SAP Trainer to be responsible for the training lifecycle for the SAP Managed Finance workstream.
Job Title - SAP Trainer (Managed Finance)
Location - Portsmouth
Rate - £ 650 per day
Duration - 6 Months
Job Purpose
* Reporting to the Applications Training Manager, you will be responsible for all activities in the training lifecycle for the SAP Managed Finance workstream. Supporting multiple SAP projects and BAU, the right candidate will be experienced in stakeholder management at all levels.
* Lead training activities during the delivery of a greenfield SAP implementation (already in-flight)
* Deliver training/training materials to support BAU activity
* Engage with applications teams and the business to ensure system and process information is delivered effectively and can be traced back to requirements
* Produce and communicate training activities status report to the Applications Training Manager and Programme Manager
* Complete work stream deliverables adhering to timelines and objectives
* Responsible for training course development ensuring consistency with Client Applications Training approach
* Conduct instructor led training sessions to Super Users & End Users on the new system functionality and business processes
* Manage training environment and landscape
* Assist in various training activities and provide advice and guidance to the business where required
* Understand the business processes for Finance and how the application supports the processes and integration with other SAP modules
* Understand and apply Client methodologies and procedures
* Perform QA on training materials
* Provide Hypercare/Go-Live support when and where required
* Perform testing where required and feedback defects
* Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research
* Work with Project managers and give training input to the project plan
* Ensuring defects are fixed in a timely manner
* Ability to prioritise and guide teams on severity and priority issues
* Participate in and give input to daily stand-ups, meetings, workshops, quality gates (Entry and Exit criteria conformance; support go / no-go decisions), documents (training plan) and ensure all reports (daily / weekly progress reports) are produced in a regular and timely manner.
* Ensure you manage your time to deliver to agreed timescales for agreed projects and changes activity
* All solutions delivered should be to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies and have measurable benefits that can be tracked
* Create all materials and documentation to agreed standards ensuring training can be delivered in a structured format
* Ensure all work carried out is either within an agreed SLA or Project sanctioned by the PMO
Main Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* 5 years plus experience of delivering SAP Finance training where changes for enterprise applications and operational availability is critical
* Working in a challenging and complex organisation and demonstrable experience of enabling organisational, business and technical change
* Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering a blended learning solutions to users in your SAP area of specialism
* Experience in developing and refining training course material development
* Knowledge of the associated SAP Finance processes
* Experience throughout the full SAP lifecycle (Design, Build, Test, Deploy)
* Exemplary presentation skills
* Strong experience of SAP WPB (Workforce Performance Builder)
* Experience of using Microsoft Sharepoint
* A full, clean driving licence
* Experience or exposure to IT Governance
* TPMA Certified or awareness of the TPMA certification
* Exposure to ITIL Framework
* Domain Expertise in Engineering & Construction will be a plus
