I am looking for Junior to Mid-Level Java Developers for a fantastic opportunity based in Central London. My client work in a particular niche within the healthcare industry and need experienced hands-on developers to enhance their development team.

They work on a mixture of product based and bespoke development applications and are keen to find an enthusiastic developer who has experience in low-level coding and can come in and hit the ground running.

Essential Skills:

* Design, code and unit test web and mobile applications by applying advanced knowledge of modern programming and scripting languages utilized in web environments which include but is not limited to Java, SQL, JavaScript/AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3;

* Participating in an agile scrum team to provide estimates, design, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives;

* Promoting best practices on how to design and build quality, scalable software;

* Driving innovation by coming up with new and surprising ideas for the company's products and development processes;

* Working closely with other developers on software architecture, design, dependencies and code maintainability;

* Create and maintain documentation for source code that is produced; and

* Debugging defects and troubleshooting issues reported by customers.

For this role my client is looking to compensate the ideal Java Developer with a generous salary of £30000 - £40000 + benefits and very real scope for career progression as the company expands over the coming years. They are based in Central London so are easily commutable from Greater London, Surrey, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex and Kent.
