A Windows Engineer role has become available within a well established and international investment Bank within their HQ in the City of London
The Role
This is a rare opportunity for a Windows Engineer to come in and take full ownership of the up and coming DevOps space. Previously the DevOps duties and tasks have been divided by the infrastructure and development teams. While you the incoming Windows Engineer will be linked to the development team, you will have a chance to work independently, drive and inform the bank on the direction they should be heading.
Initially your focus will to integrate existing software using your scripting language of choice, with experience with Python, Perl or Shell would be the expectation however you are able to make your case. Experience with configuration management tools such as ansible, puppet or chef will be expected. Currently they use Bitbucket for source code management and team city for continuous integration; having had experience with these or similar products would be preferable. As the Windows engineer you will also be working with their Monitoring products, and coming in to script some tools would be very helpful.
