Desktop/Packaging/SCCM Support

Our client are currently looking for a number of experienced Desktop/Packaging/SCCM Support Engineers to work on initial 6 month contracts at their site in Knutsford.

Applicants must have the following skills:

* SCCM 2012 / SCCM 2007

* Windows Server 2008/2012

* Non-Microsoft Configuration Management, automated provisioning and deployment systems and technology i.e., Adaptiva Onesite & GreenPlanet, 1E Nomad/Nightwatchman

* Asset Management

* Citrix and Virtual Application deployment/management

* User Migration, Client Migration and Server Migration tooling

* Scripting

* Capacity planning

* MS SQL Server

* Working knowledge of Windows Server /2012/2008/2003; Windows 10/ 7, transact SQL, SSRS, PowerShell

* Effective verbal, written and presentational skills

* Strong analytical ability to effectively troubleshoot software deployment issues and create custom solutions

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

* IIS

* Virtualisation technologies especially VMWare ESX

* SAN/NAS

* Windows security - IPSEC, GPOs, Antivirus, patching, endpoint security. Knowledge of PointSec, PGP, Symantec End Point protection (SEP)

* LAN/WAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, DMZ and routing

* Streaming technologies

* Citrix/Xenapp

* HP hardware (Blades/rack mounted servers, enclosures)

* Working knowledge of Microsoft App-V 4.6/ App-V 5.1 and Windows Installer technologies.

* Basic knowledge of Windows security - IPSEC, GPOs, Antivirus, patching, endpoint security.

* Basic knowledge of VMWare ESX, Citrix XenApp 6.5 / 7.12, Adaptiva OneSite

* Excellent time management and communication skills.
