SC Cleared Network/Server Engineer required ASAP for initial 6 month contract in Scotland!

The role will involve:

* Client configuration, test and deployment (VDI, laptops and PCs using Microsoft Deployment Services).

* Server Configuration, test and deployment

* Assist with documentation of the above.

* Assist with planning of server tasks, supporting PM in length of time required to complete task

The role requires the individual to be reasonably self-starting. The contractor may be asked to check progress of junior members of staff for accuracy

Experience of systems integration;

* Domain knowledge:

o Virtualization technologies, VMware vCenter and View

o MS Server knowledge

* Windows Group Policies

* LDAP management, windows/linux;

* Certificate management

o Cisco Networks, DNS, DHCP, IP based networks;

* Nexus Switch experience preferable

o Blade based systems

* Cisco UCS preferable

o Storage systems (NAS/SAN)

* Dell EMC Isilon and VNX preferable

o Linux
