Delivery Manager / Project Manager

Delivery Manager required to join this professional services organisation with a global reach. Having experienced continued growth they are now looking for a Delivery Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, based in Leeds.

As a Delivery Manager you will be…

*Working as part of the delivery team, you will be responsible for managing one or more projects for our growing customer base.

*Managing the delivery of multiple IT projects across application development, systems integration and consultancy

*Single point responsibility for the management of project budgets, work in progress and aged debt

*Managing, motivating and communicating with your project teams to ensure that each member has a clear role and set of responsibilities, and that the team works effectively together

*Providing input to the pre-sales process to support the production of high-quality proposals

*Participating in the continual improvement of the delivery function

*Administering line management of assigned staff to maximise their career development potential

To be a successful Delivery Manger you will have…

*Demonstrable successful project management experience in a customer facing environment

*Experience of delivering complex IT projects using a variety of methodologies including excellence in Agile techniques

*Ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks and activities as business and customer needs change

*Experience of working in a structured, quality environment

*Capability to build multi-disciplinary project teams to effectively deliver complex IT solutions

*Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, SCRUM)
