A Software House within a very specific industry are currently looking for an experienced Digital Developer to join their team.

Based at their office in Staffordshire you will be joining their Software Development and Marketing Teams. You will be responsible for managing the public-facing websites and marketing e-mails for the company as well as assisting the development team where necessary in creating the next generation of WMS for an award winning B2B platform.

Key Responsibilities:

*To build public-facing websites into a content management system that the marketing team can use to publish new content themselves

*To develop software according to the standards, guidelines including user interface design guidelines.

*To maintain existing software functionality, to investigate, analyse and correct identified defects within established SLA's.

*To develop software in accordance with the development schedule.

*Play an active role in managing the existing public-facing websites of the company - adding and replacing content and images, and suggesting improvements to ensure high visibility/ease-of-use of our websites

Skills and Qualifications

*Commercial experience developing on Microsoft Platforms.

*Experience with Git source control, practical experience with deploying and managing applications on Windows Server (including setup, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting),Experience of Object Orientated programming practices.

*Web development experience in ASP.NET/JavaScript.

*Ideally a degree in an Engineering discipline.

This is a fantastic time to join a growing company. In return you will receive a salary between £20-30k (dependant on experience and level), up to 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
