Android Developer

This is a remote working role from any European location.

The client is a large International Cable Operator, providing triple-play, over-the-top video and mobile telephony services to its customers.

The client is looking for an experienced Developer who will have been working on porting Android to new products, developing drivers and modifications for the Android stack. The Developer will have an intimate understanding of the way Android works internally and be confident in making changes at all levels.

You will be performing major surgery on the Android stack, creating a bespoke variant with radical changes in parts of the architecture.

Skills

* C/C++: 5+ years.

* Embedded Linux: 3+ years.

* Android OS dev: 5+ years.

* NDK: 2+ years.

* OpenGL ES 2.0: 2+ years.
