Job Title: Project Manager

The company is a leading Software and Data Services provider working within the finance sector and is growing at an exponential rate. As a result of this they are looking to increase their delivery capacity across many functions in order to support both internal and external clients.

They are now looking for Project Managers in their Guildford office to support Functional Team Managers in their management of deliveries to ensure consistency of approach across the department and company. You will also need to facilitate effective regular project team communication, for example daily "huddles". Also be responsible for driving an open and transparent approach to delivery, issue management and decision making across the full project team and lifecycle. The successful candidate will also need to manage completion of full lifecycle documentation, checklists and procedures in line with ITM's prescribed assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project delivery

* Adherence to ITM project management protocols;

* Identification, documentation and delivery of project deliverables as defined at project initiation;

* Delivery within time, budget and quality and subsequent change processes;

* Management of scope, risk and quality within all projects;

* Project Updates, Risk and Issues logs are maintained at all times;

* Project reporting is accurate, timely and accessible to all stakeholders;

* Reporting to client and project sponsors within parameters defined in PID;

* Creation of work packages, ensuring they are communicated and understood by team members;

* Continual utilisation management of resources assigned to projects;

* Financial and budget management

* Communication

* Communicate client requirements to those involved in project delivery;

* Attend client meetings as required and uphold ITM's values;

* Mentor project teams and individuals on their roles within the project lifecycle and project team structure;

* Participate in new business take-on opportunities to ensure processes are integrated.

Client Management

* Maintain existing relationships with clients;

* Proactively seeking resolutions of any client issues;

* Building and nurturing client relationships;

* Identifying and developing new service opportunities.

Quality & Continual Improvement

* Ensure all applicable internal Business and Project Assurance processes and procedures are followed and are auditable at any time;

* Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and 27001 (QMS and ISMS) at all times;

* Provide objective feedback as part of delivery peer review whilst at the same time ensuring products are fit for purpose;

* Identify improvements and efficiencies and lead on the development and implementation of them;

* Ensure that the entire team benefit from lessons learnt as well as contributing their own lessons;

* Working with other Team Managers and Hoops, ensure that risks and issues within a project are identified, assessed, logged and managed appropriately.

The Candidate:

* Demonstrate experience in complex projects

* Demonstrate proven ability with client relationships

* If not already a Prince 2 practitioner, be able to demonstrate competence and experience in Prince 2 methodology

* Be articulate; and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrate a willingness to be hands-on with achieving the project, over and above management and reporting.
