Production Planning Manager

The company are a leading designer and manufacturer, supplying products to a wide range of both UK and international customers. With continued growth in the business, they are consistently expanding their operations and now require a Production Planning Manager to join the team.

In this role you will be required to communicate with different departments, along with ensuring that every element of production is available. You will be in charge of the production planning team and making sure that timescales are continuously met.

The ideal candidate will have some level of managerial experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally sheet metal or fabrication but this is not essential.

The Role:

* Leading and managing the Planning team

* Liaising with different departments to ensure all parts of the project are covered

* Meeting timescales

* Improving future projects by continuously improving performance

* Generating manufacturing requirements using SAGE MRP systems

The Person:

* Experience in a similar managerial role

* From a manufacturing background

* With some knowledge of stock control and purchasing

* An understanding of SAGE MRP systems
