Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading Public sector clients.

Our client are looking for a experienced Network Specialist based in Scotland on an initial 12 month contract.

This role is outside of IR35.

The client are Looking to recruit an SME contractor with significant experience in a Data, Firewall and IPT Network environment.

Role Profile.

*Avaya ERS and VSP Network Switching, Avaya CS1000 & Avaya Aura IPT, Avaya Identity Engines, Avaya Wireless 9100 Series Network Switching , Checkpoint, Fortigate & Cisco ASA Firewalls, SolarWinds NMP, LanGuardian, Windows Desktop and Server Environment, Active Directory, PSN configuration and compliance requirements, Multiple VRF configured network experience, Local authority network design and implementation experience.

*Deliver technical solutions to events, incidents, problems and issues in accordance with response times set out in the Service Level Agreements with service areas.

*Undertake problem solving to root cause in accordance with the problem management process and identifying improvements in technical platforms.

*Monitor, report and regularly review the platform's performance against service targets highlighting improvements to the service improvement team for action.

Experienced with.

*Extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support within a technical specialism.

*Extensive experience with Avaya Wireless and Ethernet data networking switching.

*Extensive experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls.

*Experience in contributing to team activities and tasks

*Experience in the assessment and application of IT security controls and vulnerability management

*Comprehensive analytical skills to comprehend complex technical designs and system performance information

*Ability to undertake problem solving to root cause

*Ability to produce meaningful and concise written reports
