BI Consultant - BI Architect - SSAS - Tabular - Power BI - MDX - Azure - 12 month contract - Birmingham - £400 to £450 per day

A leading FTSE 250 organisation are seeking a highly talented, self-motivated, dynamic and analytically minded Senior Consultant to add experience to implement work and continue an upward trajectory for their overall BI practice

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing modern, scalable data architectures leveraging SQL Server and emerging technologies, covering on-premise and cloud-based deployment patterns.

Providing advisory services and thought leadership on modernising analytics environments leveraging and integration with existing data and analytics platforms and tools.

Skillsets

*Experience of successful design and implementation for cloud based BI / data analytics solutions utilising Microsoft PowerBI.

*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS)

*Industry experience with SSAS Tabular Models and Power BI Solutions

*Competent with MDX scripting and SSAS multi-dimensional technology.

*Demonstrate the ability to upgrade/migrate to SQL Server Platforms, advantageous: SQL Server 2016

*Understanding of Data Warehousing / DW design

*Able to mitigate Production Issues

*Business facing stakeholder skills is a must
