Identity & Access Management Specialist

£55K - OTE £75K (Benefits and profit share)

An independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services, based in the West End of London.

Role:

The Identity & Access Management Specialist is a key role within the Global Infrastructure Team to design, develop & maintain employee access to IT systems and Data in a safe and appropriate manner across the business.

Reporting to the Global Infrastructure & Operations Manager, the role will work as part of a team providing delivery of design documentation and 3rd line support activities on a number of core identity and security platforms, ensuring an effective robust and reliable identity service is provided to staff globally.

Scope of activities are outlined below:

- Working with internal project teams and external consultants to deliver Identity & Access Management initiatives to the firm.

- Performing 3rd line support, liaising with IT specialists to analyse and troubleshoot complex issues, identifying root cause analysis for incidents raised.

- Provides expert advice and assistance relating to all aspects of identity to broader IT teams, while communicating concepts of IAM to a broad range of audiences outside IT.

- Leveraging new technologies in Microsoft Azure to ensure the firm gets maximum value from investment in Microsoft identity management tools and services.

- Create and maintain documented standards, processes and procedures, aligning to company culture, policy and best practices.

- Perform occasional audits and assessments of in-use and proposed IAM configurations, proposing improvements as appropriate.

- To identify identity-related risks and ensure security safeguards and controls and operational processes are delivered to mitigate and remediate.

- Mentoring other IT staff in IAM concepts, technologies and configurations.

Requirements and skills

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar IAM technical role.

- Active Directory, AD FS, Azure Active Directory & AD Connect, Forefront/Microsoft Identity Manager, Microsoft PKI & MFA.

- Good understanding of Open ID, OAuth & SAML.

- Strong analytical & technical skills, supported by excellent written and verbal communication.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.

- Additional technical skills desirable, but not essential:

- Azure Identity Protection

- Microsoft MFA

- Microsoft System Centre Orchestrator & Powershell

- RADIUS & TACACS Services

- SCEP

- Service Now

- Oracle Identity Management solutions
