Desirable experience for a skilled Controls Engineer would include:

- PLC Programming

- Allen Bradley, Siemens etc.

- SCADA and HMI development

- High-level programming skills such as SQL, C++, C#, VB

- Electrical design using AutoCAD, EPLAN or Solidworks Electrical

- Servo drives and motion control systems

The opportunities are at varying levels of seniority, but all would require a minimum of 3 years relevant Controls Engineer experience. These roles could provide a salary between £40,000 - £60,000 depending on length and relevance of experience.
