Controls System Engineer - West Midlands

JOB TITLE: Control Systems Engineer

DURATION: 12 months contract with the aim to extend

RATES: £35 per hour

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: UK Wide

JOB REQUIREMNETS: My client solely works with Siemens based control systems, specifically Step 7 and the associated systems, so being technically astute with this type of software is essential. Essential Criteria:

* Valid UK work permit

* Previous controls systems engineering experience working in the automation industry.

* Proven experience programming Siemens Step 7 PLC's and working with the associated systems

* An outgoing 'peoples person' who can integrate well within a team environment

Advantageous Skills:

* Experienced within the automotive sector but this is by no means essential

* Robotics experience, specifically ABB and KUKA robots

* Previous experience working as a Project Engineer/Manager with the automation industry
