Mechanical Engineer - Precision CNC Assemblies

Our client is a pioneer in the development and manufacture of high speed spindles and high accuracy CNC machine tools, being at the forefront of engineering excellence through innovation since 1935. They are now seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to join their team as a Spindle Build Engineer in Coalville, Leicestershire. 

As a Spindle Build Engineer, you will be working as part of a professional team, on all aspects of the CNC spindle build and rebuild operation within our client's spindle clean room facility. 

Specifically, your role will involve: 

- Working on more than 60 different assemblies with speeds ranging up to 30,000 rpm 

- Undertaking failure diagnosis, testing, balance/vibration analysis 

- Assembling to sub-micron tolerances within a clean room environment 

Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have a good engineering background and the following: 

- Experience of working as a mechanical fitter on precision assemblies / tool maker - tool room fitter 

- Attention to detail and acquisition of accuracy are essential and pre-requisite for this role 

- A team player mentality 

- A methodical approach 

Articulate and friendly, you must be eager to learn and progress your skills and be comfortable working within a deadline-driven environment. 

Full product training will be given to the successful candidate who fulfils the above criteria.
