Position: Distribution Manager

Location: London or Blackburn

Salary: 45,000 per annum

Job type: Permanent

We are looking for an industry professional to lead and manage this new and exciting business.

The key goal is to set up and run an effective, efficient and economical distribution business from scratch.

Your focus in this role will be to organise teams to hand deliver leaflets to individual household addresses in the UK.

You will have a significant distribution experience with transferable skills to be able to set up a door to door distribution business from scratch.

Do you have a track record of having?

Consistently /successfully developed, implemented and achieved distribution goals, plans, systems and targets

Employed reliable, motivated distribution staff/workforce - using a range of creative ideas

Developed a strong team culture and a customer focused team spirit

Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills, strong commercial awareness and approach

The know how to plan rotas/logistics to ensure customer goals, targets and contracts are met

Successfully increased distribution capacity to meet increasing demand... with an eye on ways of improving

A positive, motivated, professional approach, with a team spirit and hands on approach...

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Non-negotiable:

Current experience in distribution

Flexibility - lots of travel required.

London salary: c45k basic + OTE or Blackburn salary: c40k basic +OTE

Travel required - regular travel between London and Blackburn. The candidates need to be prepared to work flexible hours.
