Proteus Europe is searching for a Project Manager for a contract role in Luton, London. Our client accepts Tier 1 Gen, ILR, UK, EU Citizens.

The detailed duty as follows:

- Responsible for full life- cycle of projects from initiation to completion for Travel domain.

- Knowledge in handling the customers in Travel, Air and entertainment area is a plus.

- Should have a good understanding on SDLC and testing life cycle.

- Apply project management methodology and appropriate project management framework for all projects (using established project standards, Agile, PRINCE2, waterfall)

- Establish the work plan and staffing for each phase of project fully understanding project scope and potential risks.

- Serve as primary contact to customers for critical change initiatives within a highly matrix environment.

- Generate status reports prepared in conjunction with project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required (i.e. weekly and monthly review) and prepare a monthly analysis.

- Ability to build successful project teams, covering resources spread across portfolio of delivery typically without direct line management responsibility.

- Analyze cost and schedule problems and initiate new alternatives which will bring the project back on course, and initiate action to execute the plan. Look for and analyze items with excessive costs.

- Ensure client requirements are captured accurately and completely.

- Create and maintain project documentation

- Prepare project reports for management, client, or others clearly keeping everyone involved aware of project progress and challenges.

- Proven decision-making skills - excellent commercial judgement

- Ensure that submittals and progress payments are processed timely.

- Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Should have performed customer facing role.
