One of the UK's leading business services organisations is experiencing a period of rapid growth and expansion and has, as a result, been recruiting heavily into the existing IT Service delivery team.

We are currently looking for an ITIL qualified/trained Supplier Manager to manage its key supplier relationships effectively and to implement rigorous controls to manage operational risk, obtaining best value from strongly negotiated contracts and improving delivery efficiencies from its suppliers through collaborative working. You will accountable for managing a portfolio of IT suppliers and contracts up to the value of £1m.

Key skills and requirements;

* Previous experience working within an IT supplier management role, or within a IT service delivery role with supplier management responsibilities

* In-depth knowledge of supplier assessment and management techniques

* Experience in public procurement processes and public procurement regulations

* An understanding of the complex commercial and technical interactions or experience of supplier life-cycle planning

* ITIL qualified or good experience working within an ITIL environment

* Risk management skills, with the ability to analyse, anticipate and balance risks and responses

* The ability to understand, interpret and apply legal and regulatory information

* Strong documentation and reporting skills

* Capable with technology and in working in a technology-focused environment

* Exposure to IT procurement and/or contract management would be beneficial
