We are looking for a Deployment Engineer (Windows 10), for a financial services company based in the City.

The ideal Deployment Engineer (Windows 10), will have extensive experience of the Windows 10 Operating System, SCCM and Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities

*Work under the supervision of the Windows 10 technical delivery lead.

*Follow a scripted procedure to build Windows 10 laptop computers according to a pre-prepared deployment schedule.

*Deploy Windows 10 operating system and standard build packaged applications using SCCM PXE boot and SCCM Task Sequences.

*Deploy other packaged applications to specific end-user requirements using SCCM.

*First stage diagnostic of deployment and configuration issues.

*Physical installation of docking station and laptop computer at end-user desks.

*Floor-walking during times when there is no scheduled build work.

Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

*Microsoft Windows 10 certification.

*Previous experience of PXE Boot, SCCM Task Sequences and SCCM application deployment.

*Understanding of the TCP/IP network protocol, including DNS, DHCP and simple diagnostic methods.

*Excellent communication skills.

*Ability to follow technical procedure and accurately capture technical data for the CMDB.

*Ability to work on a shift pattern with core hours between 10:00 & 16:00.
