Spring Technology are currently working with a large consultancy to work for a financial organisation based in Warwick to start in a contract position as soon as possible for an initial 8 months. The client are looking for a Cloud Operations Architect to join the business.

The Role

The Cloud Operations Architect will be responsible for the analysis and design of changes to the Cloud Platform Infrastructure and Services. The Architect will also be expected to assist in deployment, support and project activities of the cloud platform.

Skills and experience required

* Demonstrable skill and in depth technical experience in at least one area of Infrastructure design and support (Servers, Networks, Storage, or Virtualisation)

* Recent Infrastructure Design, implementation and support experience

* Strong understanding of concepts for cloud, virtualisation, networks, database and application architecture

* Good awareness of Security principles and concepts

* IT technology and service management tools experience (ITIL workflow, automation, monitoring, backup, security, etc.)

* Strong skills on Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Project and Excel)
