This is an excellent new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to a join a leading contractor within the AMP6 Water framework. This Quantity Surveyor position offers the prospect of growing within an exciting company who have an excellent brand and reputation in the industry.
The company have secured a full order book for Yorkshire Water contracts and because of this they need additional commercial support. In return for this, the company are committed to training and supporting their staff to be able to drive through the commercial aspects of each project. Given the length of the framework the company will develop your skills to progress you to a Project / Senior QS.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work as part of a commercial team delivering a number of projects in the Yorkshire region from the Leeds office. Therefore, experience in Civil Engineering or Utilities background is needed to be considered for this opportunity.
The ideal Quantity Surveyor will:
· Have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
· Will need to have Water / AMP framework experience
· Appreciation of NEC forms of contract
· High attention to detail
· Be eager to step up and advance their career
· Advanced IT skills
· Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent would be welcomed
Remuneration:
The successful Quantity Surveyor has the opportunity to earn:
· Salary between £30,000 - 40,000 per annum.
· Company car or car allowance
· Pension Contribution
· Health
