Head of Smart Metering is required to join a rapidly growing Utility supplier in the Home Counties on a permanent basis. The role offers a competitive salary plus a great benefits package and the chance to join the senior management team of a massively exciting enterprise with an established name within the Utilities industry.

Essential skills/ experience:

* Detailed, in-depth and demonstrable knowledge of the UK smart programme and regulatory framework

* Experience of working within a roll-out programme with strict deadlines and timescales

* Strong background in Senior Management level roles

* Demonstrable knowledge of key principles relating to organisational transition

* An ability to communicate sensitive and complicated information to your colleagues from different disciplines in a way they will be able to interpret and understand

* Experience of designing operational structures

* The ability to work to multiple tight deadlines without compromising on quality of delivery.

* Advanced stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills

Day to day role:

As Head of Smart you will be responsible for managing the full delivery of the Smart programme incorporating strategy, planning, required regulatory and business changes, budgeting, transition planning and the eventual integration of Smart to BAU status. You will operate at a variety of levels, from the board to team level and will manage a small team to help deliver your plans.

Salary: circa £70,000 - 90,000 DOE + bonus, pension
