Junior SOC Analyst - West Midlands - £25,000 - £35,000

A dedicated Security Consultancy are looking for a passionate, energetic and technically minded Junior SOC Analyst to join their SOC Team based in the West Midlands, providing a first class service to their enviable, multinational client base.
As a Junior SOC Analyst, you will be working as 1st Line Security Analysts, monitoring and managing their clients, assessing, reviewing and responding to alarms set with agreed SLA's. Providing and ensuring each client's security posture and health is maintained - with any exceptions dealt with within a timely manner.
Ideally, you will come from a background that enables you to have a strong understanding of windows and Unix operating systems, and the ability to work alongside challenging, time-sensitive projects, and most importantly - demonstrate you are a self-starter. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within an agile, security-first minded organisation! Priority would be given to those who have over 6 months experience within a security related role, or CREST/SANS certifications.
The organisation offer extensive training - on the job and the opportunity to expand knowledge via certifications and training courses. As you develop your career, there exist the opportunity to facilitate the move across senior positions within the SOC, or even across other business areas such as Incident Response, Security Assurance and Penetration Testing.
