Role and Responsibilities:

Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities

Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative

Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications

Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders

Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs

Identify, analyse and manage programme risks

Identify and manage anticipated resistance

Support and engage senior leaders

Integrate change management activities into project plan

Evaluate and ensure user readiness

Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

Support change management at the organizational level

Experience:

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

Experience leading a multidisciplinary business change team

Experience of working as a specialised change manager, with a systems implementation focus, in a complex organization

Experience of working within a programme in a Public Service environment

Experience of introducing new ways of working and behaviours across an organisation

Experience of deployment of system and technology based change

Experience with large-scale organizational change programmes

Skills and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish credibility will senior stakeholders

Exceptional communication and engagement skills, both written and verbal

Must be a team player and able to work with and through others particularly supporting managers to deliver change locally

Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

Sponsorship and stakeholder management skills

Strong influencing and negotiation skills, particularly with stakeholders in varied and diverse roles

Excellent active listening and replay skills

Ability to clearly articulate and tailor messages to a wide range of audiences/seniority

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

Organised with a natural inclination for planning, delivery and tactics

Delivery focused and able to support the needs of a complex programme including people, systems and processes
