Role: CNC Technician

Location: Oxford

Salary: Up to £40,000, depending on experience

You'd have to be living on Mars to have missed the rise of the electric vehicle, and even then you might not be safe!

"Cutting edge" is thrown around a lot in the Engineering industry, but how often do you feel it actually applies? With all the government initiatives, including the recent investment into electric vehicle-to-grid tech research, and investment from automotive giants, it's hard to dispute that the term is applicable to electric vehicles.

With innovation comes a fast paced and enthusiastic workplace. You will be surrounded by Engineers eager to push forward the future of the electric motor. Do you feel you could match this enthusiasm?

If the answer is yes, you could join the team of around 40, in an R&D environment, using your CNC skills to help manufacture the motors.

Your profile:

*Able to understand engineering drawings (surface finish, tolerances, features, etc.)

*Surface grinder and manual cutting tool experience

*Basic Word and Excel skills

Highly Desirable

*Proto Trak and One CNC programming experience

*Experience in an automotive environment
