1st Line Support Technician
A company that provides Technology solutions and services for business and organisations throughout the UK is looking to hire a 1st Line Support Technician. As a 1st Line Support Technician you will be delivering front line telephone / email support to customers, assisting with the resolution of queries both remotely or on site.
The successful 1st Line Support Technician will be given first rate training and the opportunity to develop their technical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress within a technical infrastructure environment and gain Microsoft accreditation's.
As a 1st Line Support Technician you will be…
*Working on the service desk responding to customers queries in a timely and efficient manner
*Updating requests on service desk and keep the customer updated
*Spend time on site to resolve incident when required
*Liaising with 3rd parties where needed
*Working within SLA's agreed with customer
Technical and Person Specification
*Knowledge of Desktop PC's and Operating systems (Windows XP / Windows 10)
*Experience in providing server support, in particular small business server 2003/8 and server 2003/8/12, Exchange 2007/10
*Basic knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN's
*Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*The ability to work using own initiative and solves problems
*Able to drive and have a clean licence
