SQL Server DBA Engineer - Cheshire - Up to £55,000

The large enterprise organisation, who are the market leaders in their field are looking for a SQL Server DBA to join their rapidly expanding team. They are looking for a passionate DBA engineer who specialises in SQL Server, who can support the team on their mission to become "the automated bank". The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, supporting and extending automation capabilities across all database product groups.

The candidates training and development is a massive focus for the client and they have a number of methods in place to ensure that the candidate is constantly presented with opportunities to upskill. Once within the company, training and development opportunities are presented regularly and the direction in which they go is chosen by the employee.

The role;

* Develop and deliver innovative solutions

* Ensure clients and customers are being kept up to date

* Act as an escalation point for issues

* Deliver risk and compliance profiles

* Manging stakeholders and communicating with them

* Discovering new ways of working to constantly improve the processes

The requirements;

* Experience in automation levarging toolsets

* Strong communication skills

* Exposure to CI:CD tools

* Working knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, , MongoDB, TeraData, or DB2

* Knowledge of the ITIL Framework

* Experience with Linux and Windows
