SQL SERVER DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR / DBA

6 MONTH CONTRACT INITIALLY

KNUTSFORD BASED

DAILY RATE £350 - £500 PER DAY

***** OUTSIDE OF IR35 *****

Our client, a world leading consultancy is looking for a SQL server database administrator to work on a 6 month contract based in Knutsford.

the ideal candidate will have experience in the following.

1. 5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required

2. Prior experience of SQL Server Migration Projects from version 2000 onwards

3. Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools

4. Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.

5. Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory

6. MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world leading company on a good length contract.
