Programme Manager

A new Programme Manager role has arisen with a leading, global company based in Watford. The key focus of this role is for the Programme Manager to manage a complex IT programme involving the delivery of a new Warehouse Management System (Manhattan WMS) across Europe, alongside the delivery of smaller software and IT solution projects in conjunction of this.

The Programme Manager will have direct line management responsibilities for the team of Project Managers/Analysts, manage the IT 3rd parties, as well as work in a business facing role managing and engaging with senior business stakeholders (business partnering skills required).

A track record of complex IT programme delivery is key, ideally within retail (i.e. WMS, Supply-chain or logistics).

Skills and experience required for the Programme Manager:

* International programme / project management experience within a Waterfall (Prince2) but also fast-paced environment

* Leadership and line management experience

* A focus on and track record of large-scale, complex tech solution delivery across the full software development lifecycle - on time and within budget

* Programme experience covering system integration, enhancements of legacy applications, software development and configurations

* Track record of carrying out multi-million-pound software deployments, internationally

* Experience of managing 3rd parties, system integrators and senior Stakeholders / project board members

* Business partnering experience. Working in collaboration is essential!

* Any industry experience within retail covering WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), supply-chain or logistics industry experience would be beneficial

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + £7k annual car allw. + 12% bonus
