Release Manager - FTSE 100 Company

We are seeking a Release Manager to join this UK-owned market leader within its field, and full take responsibility of the release of IT change and service transition services. The Release Manager will have a track record of cross-functional working, and release management covering both cloud-based and physical services/environments (i.e. data centres).

This role involves the management of change and release across multiple projects simultaneously, therefore excellent process, influencing and analytical skills are a must have, as well as desire to truly make a difference within this well-respected brand.

Working as a key Release Manager within this reputable UK-based organisation you will also be responsible for:

* The development and maintenance of all relevant policies, processes and procedures

* Oversee and take accountability of the smooth running of projects, change, services and releases from the project team to development, into production

* Partner with other areas of the business to ensure as much control and structure as possible throughout releases

* Management of compliance processes; educating and engaging the wider business on this

* Management of all communication with IT stakeholders, the project board, and any other assigned business areas on any new releases and services

To be considered, your experience will include:

* Strong ITIL knowledge and practice (ITIL foundation certified)

* Experience of both Agile SDLC and Prince2 project management methods

* Outstanding relationship building skills; able to partner with multiple areas of the business and influence various teams when necessary

* Strong track-record of release management in both cloud and physical IT environments

* Ability to manage multiple projects and releases simultaneously

Salary: £50k - £60k + 10-20% bonus + excellent benefits (depending on experience)
