Senior Actuarial Consultant

City of London

80000 - 110000 per annum

You will lead on core work and manage a team with your responsibilities including attending meetings, working with both Trustee and corporate clients, providing training to more junior actuarial staff and being involved in new business pitches.

A long standing client of mine, a boutique consultancy in the heart of the City, is home to a highly successful pensions practice, comprised of some of the most talented actuaries in the market.

Due to a phase of sustained growth and new business wins, the practice is seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant to play a truly integral role.

As part of this, you will lead on core work and manage a team. This is a truly attractive opportunity with unrivalled career progression on offer. This role offers excellent prospects for a rewarding career with some great client and project opportunities.

Day to day activity may include reviewing individual member calculations including transfers-out, early retirements, transfers-in, taxation limits and maximum authorised cash lump sums, cash flow modelling, new business pitches, producing sets of factors, solvency testing and buy-in analysis.

You will have 3 to 6 years post qualification experience and be fully conversant with all technical aspects of UK pensions work.

For a discreet conversation in relation this opportunity, and indeed for an oversight of the current actuarial market, please do contact me directly.
