Title: 2x Business Process Analyst (similar to business analyst) Location: Dublin city centre, Ireland

Type: 2 daily rate contract job (senior and intermediate)

Length: 3 month daily rate

Start Date: March 2018.

Interviews: Will be a 1 stage face to face interview on Thursday in Dublin city centre. Decision will take place the next day

X Factor: Ability to start quickly in the job, extensions possible for 18 months, this is initial 3 months.

Business Process Analyst (BPA)

Working with a consultancy, the BPA will be on the client's premises daily, facilitating process workshops, documenting processes and interacting with subject matter experts.

Particular focus will be on lean thinking, process standardization, and data leverage to enable optimized business processes, balancing process, control, systems, and data. In this role, the individual will be responsible establishing or extending relationships with operational business teams to optimise its processes:

* Discover: discover and document As-Is business processes

* Define: definition of problem or opportunity and scope of process or business improvement project

* Measure and Analyse: Understand and document the current processes, benchmark current landscape

* Standardise and Design: Re-engineer and leverage lean practices to develop best-in-class processes, establish standard processes, and define system requirements. Develop business cases for transformation opportunities.

* Build: Integrate with client teams to ensure alignment between processes, systems and data

* Deploy/implement: Lead process deployment efforts to ensure buy-in from implementations. See through stabilisation efforts, hand off standardised processes. Iterate to further businesses.

* Control & Improve: Identify the key performance measures that will enable the management, control and Iterate to further businesses units, as appropriate.

The Business Process Analyst will be expected to accomplish these results by:

* Engaging with client cross-functional process team(s)

* Leading and participating in current state (as-is) process mapping

* Leading and participating in future state (to-be) common process development

* Identifying data requirements and gaps

* Understanding current process metrics

* Defining Key Performance Indicators

* Coordinating quality assurance reviews

* Defining new systems and reporting needs

* Performing Business Impact Gap Analyses to support adoption and embedding change in the business

* Testing and deploying new processes

* Contributing to the development of an enterprise-wide process architecture

Working within a team with diverse skills, a structured approach, project management skills and ability to use and deploy widely recognised improvement methodologies is a key consideration.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Discover and document current state business processes

* Develop and document supporting business process information for the purposes of decision-making, consistency, and alignment (i.e. organisational direction, terminology, business rules).

* Develop work instructions (process-centric) to hand-over processes to business teams.

* Participate with a group of process owners, stakeholders, project team members and project Sponsor to document and develop high performing enterprise business processes.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement

* Design key metrics and measures associated with the future state business process, including measures of success, operational metrics, and compliance metrics.

* Develop and document supporting business process information for the purposes of decision-making, consistency, and alignment (i.e. organisational direction, terminology, business rules).

* Test processes in the design and UAT phases of deployment. Be an advocate for getting things right the first time.

* Serve as an advocate for all things process.

ADDITIONAL DUTUES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide input to further develop process-centric thinking.

* Serve as a supporting member for the design, development and implementation of Torque Management products and services

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Banking / Financial Sector experience preferred

* Senior must have 9+ years of experience in functional management, cross-functional process or process-based transformation management

* Intermediate must have 5-6 years' experience

* Experience of the banking

* Ability to solve complex enterprise-wide business problems to determine solutions that will yield expected business results through integrated high performing business processes

* Ability to design innovative processes

* Expert facilitator

* Effective communication skills (both oral and written)

* Detail-driven process orientation.

* Strong analytical skills. Must be able to drive decisions utilizing data

* Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams

* Passion for continuous improvement
