Communications Helpdesk Engineer
Role: Technical Helpdesk Support (office based) and some on-site engineering responsibilities.
Location: Essex / East London area is ideal living location or reasonable commute to this area.
Essential experience; VoIP and Hosted solution support and having an excellent communication skillset, both orally and written, are prerequisite
Beneficial experience; Panasonic, Avaya IP Office and Mitel MiVoice Office systems
Salary c£18K - £22K+ (negotiable depending on experience/training and knowledge) + vehicle + pkg. (neg.) + additional telecoms training.
Our client is a specialist Telecoms company with a success story providing advanced Telecommunications solutions, to both Corporate and SME clients throughout the UK.
There is now a requirement for a Helpdesk Support Engineer to join the team. This is an interesting and varied role primarily involving office based technical support, remote diagnostics, and the opportunity to get involved with on-site maintenance, new system installation & commissioning responsibilities.
Successful candidates would also have access to further training on the products we deliver and support.
The more experience in the following areas the better:
*Excellent communication skills both orally and written are prerequisite
*Configuration, monitoring and fault finding - routers and data switches
*Familiar with WAN/LAN and SIP technologies
*Panasonic installation and technical support experience.
*Ideally Avaya IP Office (the more the better) and/or Mitel MiVoice Office experience
*Experience in Microsoft OS and software
*Experience of Wi-Fi technology is an advantage
