Role 1 '€¢Location - Leeds'€¢Role - Infrastructure Architect'€¢Industry - IT'€¢Salary - 55k - 65k Key Responsibilities: '€¢Provide technical solution leadership for Private Sector Partnership at all levels across all platforms and technologies.'€¢Develop coherent IT solutions for the Private Sector Partnership.'€¢Iterative solution design is key, from scoping and verifying requirements, through impact assessment, solution overview to high-level and low-level design and their respective feeds into other process such as development, testing, implementation, service transition, change management and continuous improvement as part of an overall program of work.'€¢Design and enhance the architectures to ensure effective, efficient and continued service to the user base throughout the business.'€¢Ensure security elements of all designs are catered for and evidenced.'€¢Contribute to and implement the IT Strategy.'€¢Provides consultancy, technical expertise and problem analysis at an IT level, seeking improvements and supplying proactive support through commercial awareness.'€¢Govern solution proposals and make recommendation for improvement where applicable. Essential '€¢Proven track record of defining technical and infrastructure architectures for large and small developments.'€¢Excellent communication and team working skills, comfortable working with senior management levels. '€¢Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective completion of tasks both individually and within groups.'€¢Builds sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals in the business.'€¢Ability to take complex, multi-faceted problems and work with them through to simple solutions, recognising synergies and options.'€¢The use of a broad spectrum of technologies such as; LAN and WAN (Cisco, multiple network vendors), telephony (Avaya and Verint), end user compute thick and thin client (multiple hardware vendors based on chassis/blades and dedicated servers using both Wintel and Citrix delivery), storage (SAN, NAS, NetApp), security (Endpoint encryption, certificates, data in transit and data at rest), application integration, management information tools as well as availability and capacity management.
