SQL DBA Developer

A law firm with offices throughout the UK require a SQL DBA Developer to join the team. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our SQL databases. As part of the information systems team you will be involved in the planning and development of the databases.
Role Involvement:
* Maintain availability of all business critical SQL servers
* Work closely with project managers and technical analysts
* Install and configure new SQL databases
* Map out the conceptual design for a planned database
* Knowledge of dimensional modelling and methodology
* Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
Required Skills:
* Good knowledge of SQL Server 2008 - SQL Server 2014
* Good knowledge of SSAS, SSIS and SSRS
* Excellent T-SQL Scripting Skills
* Experience producing and maintaining appropriate documentation
* Experience of database mirroring and log shipping
* Experience tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance
