Lead DevOps Developer - AWS, Java, Teamcity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradel - £500

Your responsibilities will include:

* Design and implement low latency trading systems using Java

* Participate in architectural design

* Providing clear technical advice to designers, front-end developers and full stack developers.

* Research and build deep levels of knowledge with respect to advances in the cryptocurrency or technology space with the aim of building a product road map and identifying potential opportunities to enhance the company offering

* Proactively identifying, communicating and addressing technical risks throughout the delivery process

* Constructing granular build plans and providing accurate estimations for build tasks

* Ensuring builds are robust, thoroughly tested and well documented

* Identifying improvements to process

* Identifying where new technology can be employed

Skills and experience

* Very strong core Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills

* Experience developing Java EE applications using Spring MVC / Spring Boot, JPA, RESTful web services, Servlets etc.

* Deep knowledge of open source frameworks.

* Strong experience in building serverless micro services architecture

* AWS Developer/DevOps/Architect accreditation

* Domain expertise in AWS services, particularly enabling these services in a multi-tenant environment using cloud formation; IaaS, Storage, IAM, Networking, SQS, CodeDeploy, Codebuild, Cognito

* Knowledge of Java Build Systems and tools including Maven, Gradle, Ant etc.

* Expert knowledge with source control software, e.g. Git, SVN.

* Experience building single page web applications using modern frameworks like ReactJS / AngularJS.

* Experience building high availability multi-threaded Java applications

* Expert knowledge using DevOps tools, e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, SONAR

* Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, Gulp.

* Good Experience working in a Agile environment.

* Database technologies - RDBMS or NoSQL.
