Business Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join Experis on a permanent basis. We are actively looking to secure a Business Analyst to join Experis and work on the Digital Team for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

* Engagement & management of multiple stakeholders to support the delivery of all analysis deliverables working within the overall strategy & industry standards framework

* Ensures all business analysis deliverables are completed in accordance with pre-defined high level processes, practices & procedures i.e. joined up detailed analysis work that covers the breadth of the programme

* To produce requirements documents including (not limited to) e.g. data analysis, data models, data entities, sources of data etc., high-level & detailed end to end workflows using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) / UML, Use Cases & journeys, defining business rules etc. for the agreed solutions being introduced as a result of the new operating model

* To perform impact analysis on existing business & technology broadcast processes, identify risks, issues & help specify new processes & procedures

* To manage the non-functional requirements associated with the delivery of new solutions based on the new operating model.

* To provide ongoing feedback on task statuses, key issues or risks, produce detailed reports & other written material of a technical / complex nature adapting style & content to communicate to audiences of all levels

* To continually work closely with Business & technology stakeholders and contributors and, other analysts etc. on the implementation & roll out of new processes & procedures, providing ongoing consultancy throughout the course of delivery & translation of technical understanding of solutions to the business

* To continually work with technology architecture teams, scrum teams, developers etc to ensure delivery supports the overall solution design & coordinate with UAT teams during test phase

* To encourage a culture of continuous improvement

Essential skills, abilities and behaviors

* Experienced in defining & documenting a multi-layered operating model, process design, data & requirements analysis

* Experienced at developing business requirements for a new operating model, accompanying process re-design & required system & tool design

* Detailed knowledge and experience of broadcast & media value chain , particularly in relation to the Rights, Planning & Scheduling sub programmes detailed above.**this is essential

* Demonstrable ability to contribute to the design & development of new operating models, execution of implementation plans, system tests, change management & change readiness

* Demonstrable knowledge of project life cycles including understanding of process modelling & controls, organisational design

* Full end to end programme delivery experience successfully delivering small / medium & large complexity projects

* Proven experience of working through challenges, identifying & considering alternative solutions & making recommendations based upon sound judgements

* Track record in delivering in a multi-functional team with business teams, development teams, architects, programme & project managers, business analysts software teams &, testing teams etc.

* Has a good combination of soft skills, business knowledge, systems thinking & knowledge of change management techniques

* Identifying, documenting & presenting business requirements & translating them for development purposes

* Analysis & prioritisation of requirements

* Agile (scrum) / Waterfall methodology delivery experience

* Documenting multi-layered Use Cases, "As-Is" & "To-be" processes using UML/ BPMN

* Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Visio, Excel & PPT

* Client focused with the ability to develop & maintain effective working relationships across all levels

* Analytical, creative at problem solving & decision making with an extremely keen eye for detail

* Influential communicator with the ability to develop, present & defend recommendations

* Ability to challenge others & bring about an understanding & enthusiasm behind proposed change

* Ability to consider the full needs of all stakeholders & consider the impact of the recipient of changes they are leading - takes appropriate action to engage end users in the development & implementation planning

* Agent of change who uses strategic thinking to agitate & initiate action & challenge others via business designs & solutions, which drive requirements to the business operational & organisational structures

* Able to work in a fast paced business and projects environment

* Flexible and willing to do whatever is necessary to get the task accomplished or the job done.
