Our globally recognised, manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to join their team based in Wiltshire on a permanent basis. The Senior Network & Security Engineer will be joining a tight-knit team who pride themselves on hard work, dedication and a passion for their work in all areas. The purpose of the Senior Network & Security Engineer is to manage the network infrastructure so that it is highly available, secure and fit-for-purpose for the organisation's requirements. Senior Network & Security Engineer - Key Skills:  '€¢ Hands on experience maintaining Campus switching technologies including C6500, VSS, Cisco Stack, Spanning tree protocols, VTP, C2900, Ether channels, Trunk, Single & multi-mode fibre.'€¢ Layer 3 IP, OSPF routing, Policy based routing & campus design experience.'€¢ Cisco Unified Wireless Network (CUWN), 5500 controller, Cisco Prime, Ekahau Site Survey'€¢ Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE).'€¢ Hands-on experience of Virtual Private Networks (VPN), AnyConnect, VPN IPSEC tunnels & IP migration.'€¢ Cisco ASA firewall hands-on skills and knowledge, Web Filter appliance. Clearswift experience an advantage. Cisco Intrusion detection & FirePower.'€¢ Network monitoring tools & packet capture utilising Solarwinds & Wireshark'€¢ Microsoft DNS, DHCP.'€¢ Interpersonal skills/customer focused.'€¢ Willingness to learn new skills, as appropriate.'€¢ Cisco CUCM an advantage, but not essential.'€¢ Network design using MS Visio, Netviz and Netterrain.'€¢ An industry-recognised network qualification e.g. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) with Security'€¢ ITIL foundation'€¢ CCNA Cyber Ops (desirable).
