Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer, to be based with market leading client in Birmingham for an initial 3 month contract with an option to extend to 11 Months. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward thinking organisation using the latest technologies, who are in the process of completing a data centre move, requiring a talented network engineer for project based work.

The pay rate for this role will be between £400 - £450 per day. Our client is looking for a start date ASAP.

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer who can offer them project based support and consultancy as they move to two new data centre locations, working to tight deadlines, delivering with the latest technologies. This role will not require an engineer to build, rather provide input to the support and maintenance of the new network technologies, along with any improvements that could be made. The focus will be on their network virtualization, using VMware technologies including NSX V6.2 and vCloud in a software defined networking environment.

Essential Skills:

* Proven history as a Network Engineer with experience within a data centre environment

* Strong knowledge of VMWare NSX V6.2

* Experience using vCloud

* F5 Load Balancing including GTM and LTM

* Multi Protocol Label Switching
