Your Role: 

As a 1st Line Support Specialist, you will be tasked with providing IT support to company employees. 

You will take part in a wide variety of engaging projects allowing you to further develop your understanding of areas such as networking, hardware, voice over IP, Microsoft systems, mobile applications and OS and problem solving. 

Although this is primarily a Monday-Friday role, you will be required to take part in an on-call rota for evenings and weekends. 

About You: 

To be considered as a 1st Line Support Specialist, you will need: 

- Experience of working in an end user support position, providing 1st and 2nd line support 

- Support experience for Windows 7/8, OSX 10 and Android 

- Experience of handling backup and recovery tools and procedures 

- Testing experience for software applications and systems 

- Network monitoring experience 

- A track record of assisting staff to connect to servers, and providing them support on Windows 7/8, OSX 10, Android, internet browsing, and MS Office 

- Strong English communication skills 

- A diploma or equivalent in IT 

Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications are considered an asset, however they are by no means essential.

This role is suitable for those who have held the role of 1st Line Support Specialist, 1st Line Technician, Support Technician, Support Analyst, IT Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support Technician, 2nd Line Support Analyst, or Network Support Analyst.
