Mechanical Engineer / Medical / Development / V&DTo be based in Dublin Duration: 6 months contractKey Skills: Mechanical, Verification, Validation, SolidWorks, Systems I have a brand new requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to work in Ireland for my client who requires a contractor for an initial 6 months. My client specialises in the design and development of various medical device applications. They are also looking for an engineer who has experience with front end design experience as well as validation design.Experience required;- New Product Development (requirements, verification, and validation)- Verification & Validation design and testing- Solidworks                 - Coordinate the development of test setups, protocols, results, and reports           - Test plans- Mechanical verification medical devices in V-Model development teams.- Bridging gap between mechanical, electrical and software team- Design reviews- Risk management activities including FMEA's, to ensure robust and reliable designs- ISO13485- Verification and Validation strategies- Reviews engineering specifications and drawings, proposing design modifications to improve system design within cost and other performance requirements- Strong understanding of medical device regulations including ISO, FDA GMP and design controls.Contract length - 6 monthsStart date - ASAPThis is a brand new requirement and my client is looking to bring someone in as soon as possible so if you feel this role could be relevant to yourself, please don't hesitate to get in touch.Send your CV or call Ahmed Salah on 0207 812 7700 for more information.
