£350 - £450 a day

12 Month Contract

This project has been described as the pioneer of all banking projects.

My Global Banking client has taken years to carefully plan and put in to place everything required for this project to commence. They are currently in the process of their 2nd wave of hiring for this complete digital transformation.

We are looking to fill a range of positions including (but not limited to) Architects, Front End Developers, Back End Developers, QAs, Testers, Scrum Masters, DevOps Consultants etc..

My client has a budget of £1bn and needs to make 200 hires this year alone following the 50 made last year, this will be a 50/50 split between Permanent and Contract.

Role Overview

To become a Senior Java Developer for my Financial powerhouse of a client you will need to demonstrate not just pure development skills, but also a constant hunger for new technologies and be backed up by an Engineering or IT related degree.

You will have strong demonstrable experience with the following:

Required Skills

* Java

* J2EE/JEE

* Websphere

* Working within large teams

Desirable Skills

* JavaScript (React.js)

* IBM Websphere (Portal)

* Finance Experience
