Project Manager - Higher Education - Contract - 5 months (initially) - Hampshire. My client, a leading University based in Hampshire, is looking for a contract Project Manager for an initial 5 month period. The University, Auditory Implant Service, is a clinical enterprise unit which assesses and supports over 1500 hearing impaired children and adults across the South of England. The University is seeking a programme/project manager to manage the initiation and procurement stages of a project to replace the existing IT system. This IT system underpins all activities in the unit including finance, stock control, patient administration and clinical database management. It will be an advantage, but is not essential, to have experience of procurement and rollout planning of a complex system within a medical (NHS) context. You must be excellent at high level stakeholder management and strong impact analysis and reporting skills on multiple systems/technologies. This role is likely to extend past the initial duration.
