NOC Engineer / Technical Operations Engineer (Windows Monitoring Network TCP/IP Database). Global Investment Research and Management firm is seeking a bright, ambitious NOC Engineer / Technical Operations Engineer to join their team working on a 24/7 rotational 12 hour shift basis.

As a NOC Engineer / Technical Operations Engineer you will monitor and maintain a low latency global network that delivers real-time market data feeds to its client base. The main focus of the role will be monitoring real-time applications, performing system health checks and monitoring network connection.

Collaborative team based in fantastic City offices.

Requirements:

*Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server administration (2008/2012; Web/Standard/Enterprise)

*Good knowledge of databases (SQL)

*Familiar with Networking technologies such as TCP/IP

*Excellent communication skills

*Degree educated, Computer Science or similar technical discipline

*Must be able to work 24/7, 12 hour shifts on rotation, usually three shifts in a row
