1.Job Duties

A Cyber Security Engineer is required to perform the following duties:

*Analyse proposed system changes from a security perspective;

*Plan, prepare and conduct security tests, and report results;

*Provide monthly reports on system security vulnerabilities;

*Create and monitor implementation of change requests for maintaining system security posture;

*Perform other related duties as requested.

2.Qualifications

The consultancy support for this work requires the following qualifications:

Essential:

*Bachelor of Science degree in Security Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or closely related field;

*Minimum 5 years' experience in systems security engineering, evaluating system security architectures, and system changes;

*Excellent knowledge of information assurance domains;

*Excellent knowledge of security mechanisms provided by operating systems, network devices, firewalls, and application hardware;

*Must be fluent in the English language (reading, writing, listening and speaking);

*NATO Cosmic Top Secret Security Clearance.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
