The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of engineers providing technical Infrastructure support to Central and Regional UK Government users. The role will require a flexible working ethic and a pragmatic approach to IT Support, they will have second/third line support background, and have good customer service and communication skills.

Level 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

Key skills:

* Experience supporting a large-scale estate (5,000 users or more)

* Versatility - i.e. the ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment

* Troubleshooting - the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a large-scale estate

* Handling a range of issues relating to client Printers

* Working to strict deadlines in a pressured environment

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Demonstrable experience in two or more of the following technologies:

* Citrix/Xenapp (version 5 or higher)

* Virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare)

* Printer

* Scripting / Powershell

* DHCP / DNS

* Windows Server 2003/2008R Enterprise
